S & S Law Associates respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, why we collect it, and how it is used.
Information you submit is used only to respond to your inquiry, confirm and manage consultation bookings, administer your Client Portal account, and share updates on a case you have been granted access to. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. Where you sign in with Google, the information Google provides is used only to confirm who you are and to connect you to the correct account on this website.
You can sign in to the Client Portal or the Advocate Portal with an email address and password, or by choosing to continue with Google. Google acts only as an identity provider: it confirms that you control the Google account you signed in with. Your role, your permissions, and what you are able to see remain governed by this website and by S & S Law Associates, not by Google.
If the verified Google email address already belongs to an account here, signing in with Google signs you in to that same existing account instead of creating a second one. Linking adds only the Google account identifier and the date it was linked; your existing name, email address, password, role, case access, and account history are left unchanged.
If no account exists for that address, signing up with Google can create a new Client Portal account. An advocate who signs up with Google creates an application that stays inactive until the firm owner approves it, so signing in with Google does not by itself grant access to the Advocate Portal. Signing in with Google cannot create an owner or administrator account.
Signing in does not by itself give access to confidential case information. For clients, access to a case file remains subject to the existing case-access request and approval process. For advocates, it remains subject to the role and approval status held on the account.
Submitted information is stored on secured servers with password hashing for account credentials and access-controlled admin systems. Where you sign in with Google, the sign-in is checked on our own server against Google's published public keys before any session is created, and your Google password is never shared with us. While we take reasonable precautions to protect your data, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure.
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information held by us at any time by writing to sadvocate15@gmail.com. This includes the Google account association described above, which can be removed from your account on request.
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices. The revised policy will be posted on this page.
